My client was founded in 2016 as a corporate start-up and combines the knowledge in logistics and the infrastructure of a corporate group with the flexibility and digital competence of a start-up. The task: Connect shippers and transport companies on one platform and thus optimise all steps of the transport process for both sides. By using state-of-the-art technologies, the traditional and lengthy offline processes are replaced and thus the efficiency of all transport steps is optimised for the user.


Your tasks

• Design, develop, review, deploy and maintain scalable software solutions for the extensive platform in an international team of more than 10 developers.
• Develop strategies and ideas together in the team, e.g. for new architectures that optimise the platform and enrich it with new features - in doing so, you will, for example, deal with individual interface projects for major customers.
• Work closely with product management, QA and other departments.
• Continuously perform tests and pull request reviews to make the platform permanently stable and secure with high code quality (e.g. based on open guidelines).
• Actively share your knowledge and share best practices in your field as a mentor.
• Use your strengths increasingly in the frontend (React) or backend (PHP) depending on your knowledge and, if interested, also familiarise yourself with other technologies or topics (e.g. Node.js or DevOps).
• Enjoy a lot of ownership.

Your skills

• Have solid professional experience in the qualitative development of scalable PHP applications.
• Be a passionate clean coder with an eye for performance and security.
• Be familiar with software architecture.
• Be able to quickly familiarise yourself with topic-related technologies if interested and required, and ideally also have a good command of another programming language.
• Be a team player and proactive communicator and speak very good English (team language).
