To further scale our growing business, we are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team in Berlin/Zurich

The role

You will join a rapidly growing Engineering department as part of the Patient Experience tribe, building and contributing to products that have a strong positive social impact. Working in an agile environment you will be a Senior member of a cross-functional squad designing, implementing and delivering great new features to our patient-facing apps. You will collaborate in a variety of projects and tasks that will further develop your career and skills

What are we looking for you to bring:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• 8 years of experience in software development

• Extensive experience in Android development

• Strong Kotlin knowledge (Java is a plus)

• Great knowledge of Android architectures (MVVM, MVI, MVP)

• Attention to detail for coding practices and standards (SOLID, Clean code)

• Good knowledge of Android SDK including the Support libraries (AndroidX, Compose, Navigation)

• Good knowledge of standard Android libraries (Hilt, Dagger, Retrofit, Coil, Picasso, Room)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
