ChandlerKBS is represented throughout Europe and actively works on projects in over 16 countries. We have been present in Germany since 1992 and have offices in Düsseldorf and Berlin.Due to our recent expansion we are looking for talented and experienced Scheduler (m/f/d) in Wismar and PapenburgTasks
  • Supporting the use of the full range of Project Planning Management Processes.
  • Provide support on day-to-day delivery of projects and assume day-to-day responsibility for small and medium sized projects and demonstrate the ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision whilst supporting larger projects and programmes of work as required.
  • Support knowledge capture, sharing and innovation.
  • Seek advice on procurement strategies and contracts.
  • Support preparation and evaluation of tenders, contractor/consultant selection and contract documentation.
  • Support risk and value management, including facilitation of workshops.
  • Support contract administration for relevant contract provisions, monthly reporting and chairing project meetings.
  • Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner to a high standard of quality.
  • Delivery of work to a high-quality standard and completed in a timely manner.
  • Undertake service delivery is in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice, particularly Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
  • Undertake service in compliance with client’s corporate governance procedures where applicable.
  • Achieve all objectives as required by the annual performance review process.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that all parties are kept informed on all relevant matters impacting and influencing projects.
  • Support development and management of the project programmes and obtaining the buy-in off all stakeholders.
  • Support Senior PM and Technical team as required.
Requirements
  • Industry specific degree.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Advanced working knowledge of planning software, P6, MSP, ASTA PP.
  • Working towards MAPM / MRICS other equivalent qualification or experience. Associate status with APM or RICS.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation.
  • Detailed understanding of leadership techniques.
  • 5+ years’ experience.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical planning matters.
  • Experience and good understanding of industry standard forms of contract, typically JCT and NEC.
  • Good Technical project planning management skills. Developed skills around following Planning Processes: Planning management and development, Resource, Risk, Opportunities and Issues, Change control, Stakeholder Management, Contract and Communications.
  • Interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Good Experience of planning and supporting the delivery of multiple projects and supporting major projects’ programmes of work.
  • Good understanding of HS&E legislation.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
