RESPONSIBILITIES

Over a period of 18 to 24 months, you will become acquainted with the entire global controlling task spectrum of the Coatings division and put your skills to the test. We are looking for you as a trainee starting in August in the Controlling division.
During the trainee program you will work in several Controlling departments, such as Operational Planning. Also, you will develop digital controlling instruments or take on initial responsibilities in parts of major projects.
In addition, you will get to know the controlling focal points of our regional or global business units or the interface to our Service Hub in Berlin.
During your intensive "on the job" training, you will always work in project groups with a focus on controlling and take on tasks in day-to-day business at both local and global level.
You will be in close contact with other functions and central units of the BASF Group as well as our partners in the operational units.
Taking into account given travel guidelines and requirements of the federal government, an assignment of three to six months abroad in one of our branches is an integral part of the trainee program.
QUALIFICATIONS

master’s degree with above-average grades in the field of economics - either business informatics with a strong focus on data & analytics or business administration with a focus on accounting and controlling
first practical experience in the area of controlling and/or data & analytics
first project management experience, a qualification (e.g. according to PMI or IPMA) is desirable
several months abroad in the form of internships or semesters abroad
fluent German and English language skills
proactive action as well as confident and authentic appearance with effective communication
