We are looking for a Project Logistics Manager (f/m/x) to join our team

Responsibilities:
  • Is responsible for all logistical relevant issues from planning to delivery to customer through a project
  • Interprets the sales agreement and L/C terms and conditions for shipping
  • Prepares and maintains the Logistics implementation and Logistics plan
  • Collaborates strongly with all parties involved in the project supply chain such as Procurement, Expediting, Engineering, Project Scheduler and Project Management
  • Requests indications and quotations
  • Selects and purchases logistics services in compliance with Global Logistics sourcing strategies
  • Is the contact to Logistics Service Providers for transportation, customs brokerage, packaging and warehousing
  • Monitors progress of shipment deliveries and informs consignees/ customers in project country in regard to status
  • Is responsible for the export clearance documentation
  • Issues L/C invoicing and documentation in cooperation with project management
  • Is responsible for project logistics budget and reports deviations to project manager
  • Acts as consultant in regard to import and export customs concept during Sales and Delivery phase to project team, suppliers and customers on demand
  • Manages equipment / material forwarding schedule with project manager and project scheduler
  • Provides transport costs for total cost of purchasing view
  • Leads logistics related claims towards Logistics Service Providers
Requirements:
  • Matching logistical education and good technical and commercial understanding

  • Solid supply processes and practices understanding

  • Ability to work with Metso core systems ( MS O365, SAP MM, LMS, Meridian)
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable fields, such as business administration, logistics and supply chain
Operational work experience in project logistics and with Logistic Service Providers
Relevant working experiences with SAP MM
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
High level of computer skills for basic IT tools such as MS O365, SAP, LMS
People skills including the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines by focusing on customer’s demand
Detail-orientation is part of your work nature
