The planned duration of the position is four years and is typically awarded in cooperation with a partner

organization from practice. Over the four years, the project assistant will work at the partner organization

for 24 months (4 x 6 months) and at the Chair of Accounting and Auditing for 24 months (4 x 6 months).

The Chair of Accounting and Auditing at HHL is one of the leading German institutions working in the area of

capital market communication. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Henning Zülch, the Chair pursues a wide

variety of teaching and research activities. In addition, the Chair values close cooperation with respected partners in academia and business practic

Tasks

Throughout your time at the Chair, you will contribute to academic and practice-orientated publications as

well as countless projects, in line with the Chair’s research foci (Financial Communication and Sports Management). You will also be responsible for teaching and administrative activities at the Chair. We consider your

time at the Chair to be a time of intensive learning which will prepare you for an excellent career thereafter

and will ensure that your engagement is structured accordingly. In addition, pursuing your doctorate at the

Requirements

A successfully completed university degree in the field of business with an above average academic record and

specialization in a relevant field with respect to the Chair’s research foci is requisite for your employment at

the Chair. We are looking for a communicative team player who is dedicated and enjoys conceptual and creative tasks and also, is comfortable with applying quantitative methods of analysis
