Your mission

We see a high demand for software-based solutions from our customers using our LiDAR sensors. Therfore, we are driving an independent, innovative software stack development. Here you play the central role as Product Owner (m/w/d) Perception Software. You will be end-2-end responsible for the perception software stack. Together with our customers and the development team, you understand the requirements, ensure the implementation and shape the future of Blickfeld’s future solution offering.

If your passion sparks for the state-of-the-art application development in sensor technology, the fascinating domain of Data Processing, Point Clouds, and their challenges, and would like to bring the Point Cloud Processing and LiDAR solutions to everyone, we are looking forward to your application.

Your tasks

⟋ You are responsible for the product perception software stack within an agile / SCRUM oriented framework
⟋ You understand current and future applications and create solutions for our customers
⟋ You define and align software perception business model
⟋ You define requirements, align with the stakeholders (Developers, Sales, Applications) and regularly maintain the product backlog (visible, transparent, clear)
⟋ You define and announce releases, communicate delivery and product status
⟋ You share significant RIDAs (risks, impediments, dependencies, and assumptions) with relevant stakeholders
⟋ You negotiate priorities, scope, funding, and schedule
⟋ You interact with potential and existing customers, demo the product and/or new features, collect customer feedback and translate into new requirements
⟋ You test and feedback latest releases
⟋ You create and support for product marketing material (videos, pitch decks,...) and further supporting product documentation (manual, licensing,...) in alignment with relevant stakeholders

Your profile

⟋ You have 3+ years of experience as product owner for a complex technical software product
⟋ You studied Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business or comparable background (proven technical understanding)
⟋ Ideally, you bring experience with LiDAR, optical systems and 3D applications
⟋ Your have the capability of working in a highly dynamic environment including the use of collaborative tools
⟋ You have structured, analytic and solution oriented approach with a highly customer-oriented mindset
⟋ You are willing to travel
⟋ You impress with good comunication skills, both verbal and written in German and English
