YOUR TEAM

You will work in the department "Processes and Compliance” which is part of a dynamic, fast growing team in the chief technology area. We develop innovative processes, methods and tools to enable CARIAD developing software and hardware according newest systems engineering technologies. State of the art processes are key to ensure software and hardware innovations on wheels for the entire Volkswagen Group. These processes will enable efficient product development of software and hardware that inspires our customers with new digital skills and features every day, from more intelligent cockpits, to highly automated driving, new energy & charging solutions, as well as innovative mobility solutions and services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Accountable for designing and shaping systems engineering related processes together with the Process Owners and stakeholders
• Responsible for managing the process and information architecture (EAM)
• Liaison with departments for transformation, cultural change management, communication, and training (competence and qualification planning)
• Responsible to transfer new technical trends of Systems Engineering into CARIAD, identify new opportunities and communicate them into the knowledge group
• Prioritize activities across different process teams with technical, procedural and financial aspects in mind and coach teammates
• Provide suitable solutions for the CARIAD process architecture and identify contradictions and inconsistencies

WHO YOU ARE

• Completed studies in systems engineering or computer science or engineering or software development
• Multiple years of professional experience in preferably in the area of automotive electronics or software development
• Sound knowledge and understanding of process interfaces and the information flow between processes
• Familiar with the techniques of enterprise architecture modeling and able to justify architectural decisions
• Good overview and understanding of typical methods and tools supporting the processes to be implemented
• Ideally experience in Systems Engineering, Automotive SPICE
• Knowledge and experiences in working with agile methods like SAFe is a plus
• Proactive, supportive, structured and solution-oriented and able to bring experience and methodological knowledge into this new organization
• Fluent in English and German
