We are looking for aPlant Manager, based in Dortmund, to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all operational processes. If planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations is in your DNA then this is the job for you!

About The Role

How you will contribute
  • Build up our new site with a new team of talents to the satisfaction of our customer
  • Fully responsible and accountable for the operational performance of the site. Ensure that customer SLA’s are met, that KPI targets are achieved and that overall customer satisfaction is excellent;
  • Fully responsible and accountable for the financial results of the Site (P&L owner). Ensure that budgets are created and agreed upon and that financial targets are achieved;
  • Provide the strategic guidance and leadership for the Site. Build a vision for the further development of the site and deliver that vision. Drive continuous improvement, innovation and change;
  • Provide Leadership to the organization and staff. Build and maintain a high performing organization, mentor others and ensure that leadership development takes place;
  • Manage the relationship with the management of the customer. Understand their current and future business needs and service them accordingly.
  • Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer and actively participate in customer RFQ’s;
  • Be an active member of the syncreon Management Team and ensure cross-site and cross-functional cooperation as well as best practice sharing.
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety standards & legislative requirements are met
Your Key Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business, logistics, engineering, or related field;
  • 8 -10 years of progressive work experience, performing professional level operational management duties in a logistics or supply chain environment;
  • Proven P&L ownership experience with a track record of improving financial results;
  • Experience with managing clients on multiple levels in a service industry;
  • Experience in leading change with concrete measurable results;
  • Fluent in English and German;
  • Inspirational, people oriented and results driven leader with a hands-on mentality when required.
