Your mission

You will be mainly responsible for preparing accurate forecasts, planning processes and developing reports that will be used company wide. The analysis and forecasts of your team will help different teams to solidify and advance their departments on the way to operational excellence. The interaction with many stakeholders will give you high visibility within the company and the chance to truly have an impact in the environment of a fast-growing and highly promising start-up in Germany. In particular, you:

  • Strategically plan our product portfolio, prepare forecasts, analyse and interpret the results and derive actions
  • Set seasonal targets within the merchandising and controlling department and coordinate those with the buying team
  • Adjust existing and develop new structures for controlling and identify relevant areas where cross-departmental coordination is required
  • Keep track of purchasing and procurement KPIs and develop reports for those
  • Be the connecting dot between multiple departments
Design and develop internal departmental planning and controlling processes

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or similar discipline
  • 2+ years experience in Planning or Controlling, preferably in retail / FMCG company or in the consulting environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with an ability to derive actions and delegate tasks based on quantitative results
  • Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and requests at the same time without losing the bigger picture
  • MS-Office (high proficiency in Excel), preferably experience with Power BI tools
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
