Marine Commercial Manager

Marine Operations & Vessel Management team is responsible for the provision of construction, commissioning and service vessels for Vestas offshore projects. You will become a part of the team with skilled and experienced subject-matter experts within the offshore installation and service logistics area.

Responsibilities:

• Be the point of contact to the installation vessel suppliers throughout the tendering and contract negotiation process
• Agree on tender evaluation criteria with internal stakeholders
• Assist internal stakeholders in daily ad-hoc tasks for vessel interfaces
• Steer the commercial assessment of installation vessel tenders and other tender related documents
• Participation in external meetings with clients, vessel providers and other contractors to ensure that information and assignments are exchanged between parties
• Prepare the vessel agreement handover process to the Project Teams incl. Risk Assessments
• Review tender deliverables and participate in the vessel agreement process together with other members from the negotiations team
• Acquire knowledge of relevant installation vessel companies in the global offshore wind market
• Assess offshore project contracts and identify potential risks related to vessel conditions and execution
• Develop new and maintain ongoing relationships with vessel companies and the key persons in this area

Qualifications:

• Relevant University Degree and/or relevant professional institute qualification
• 2+ years of experience within offshore renewable industry and/or offshore vessel chartering
• Familiar with BIMCO WINDTIME and SUPPLYTIME standard forms of contract
• Substantial commercial and contractual experience
• Advanced negotiations skill
• Extensive understanding regarding business impacts and consequences

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
• Advanced knowledge in MS office e.g. Excel
