Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organisation

Actively contribute to develop the program and execute the projects and initiatives relating to sustainability in retail, focusing on in-store experiences, in line with the overall company sustainability strategy. Lead cross-functional collaboration across the organization, which contributes to driving forward sustainability in retail and achieving our commitments. Bring new, innovative ideas to enrich our outcomes. Understand and influence key business processes that help meet targets and improve our efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Program and Project Management:
  • The role this is responsible for ideation, development, and implementation of sustainability experiences in retail, in line with the overall company sustainability strategy to ensure it is embedded into all aspects of operating a global retail business.
  • Build comprehensive project plans including success measures. Identify and address all relevant stakeholders (in both global and markets), commercial implications and timelines
  • Complete pre-project analysis, capturing current processes and practices across markets, using data to define best practice with internal and external benchmarking
  • Work cross-functionally and influence to drive initiatives through testing, learning, and scaling.
Communication And Reporting
  • Provide transparency through regular progress tracking of program and projects, establish and open topic management reports
  • Create effective communications of sustainability initiatives and cascading of information to relevant stakeholders on global and market side.
  • Create handover and training materials for sustainability within retail across retail segments.
Strategic Support
  • Align and incorporate of specific sustainability trends and innovation aspects into future retail strategies and standards.
  • Help foster and identify synergies, best practices, and opportunities for the improvement of existent and future sustainability experiences
  • Other duties as requested by line manager

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Understanding of retail, ideally in the sector of sporting goods & fashion sector
  • Proven track record of managing/executing complex projects and large stakeholder groups with confidence
  • Strong communication & facilitation skills
  • Excellent skills of creating of presentations and project documentation
  • Influencing skills
  • Able to deal with multiple working styles, personalities, and nationalities
  • Fluent in English
  • Preferred sustainability knowledge
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • University degree in business is preferred, ideally with marketing or project management focus or equivalent retail store experience.
  • 4+ years of working experience, retail (Store) experience is essential
  • Solid experience to work with MS Office, mainly power point is a plus
  • Fluent in English
