For our office in Cologne we are looking for a Project Quality Manager (m/w/d)
Your Tasks:
  • Facilitate the effective implementation of the Quality Management Systems in project teams in a manner that meets corporate, location and contractual requirements and in line with the ISO 9001 standard
  • Training project personnel under their direction in the applicable project policies and procedures as written in the Project Assurance Plan/ Project Quality Plan
  • Apply a risk-based approach to developing assurance planning and priority to corrective measures required to improve process implementation.
  • Manage project quality activities including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, assessments and project quality reporting and review
  • Ensure that the customer’s quality management requirements and concerns and the needs of multiple stakeholders are being identified and managed by the Project Team effectively
  • Assist with supplier evaluation and negotiation to ensure quality of supplier practices, product and suitability of inspection and test programs. Ensures that quality requirements are included in subcontracts
  • Work closely with and draw on the resources of the global Worley Quality Community
  • Support to strengthen and coach junior quality personnel in their development

Your Profile:

  • A degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on plant and process engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • 15+ years relevant experience in a project management environment including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience
  • Certified Lead Auditor
  • You are a good leader, communicator, approach people and recognize strengths and weaknesses of the team
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Bridges the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers (interface management)
  • Experienced with Scrum, Agile, Lean and/or Six Sigma is a pre
