Headquartered in London, our client is an international management consultancy with offices in Düsseldorf, Copenhagen, New York, Chicago, Dubai and Riyadh. 450 consultants with over 40

nationalities and 30 spoken languages provide procurement and supply chain improvement to renowned clients - all over the world. Despite their global spread across different continents, all employee return to their home offices every Friday to meet colleagues & attend exciting training courses. Take on a key position in the recently opened office in Düsseldorf and support the team’s exciting client work in Germany!

Tasks
  • You lead specific workstreams on consulting projects.
  • You manage the collection & analysis of client data and develop recommendations and solutions.
  • Once the strategies are agreed with the client, you are responsible for planning and implementing them.
  • You ensure that targeted project outcomes are achieved.
  • You provide support, guidance and direction to the Junior Consultants on projects.
  • You manage key relationships with client stakeholders, leverage their institutional expertise and ensure buy-in to the agreed strategies.
Requirements
  • Academic background: preferably with a top degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Economics
  • Must have: relevant management consulting experience within a leading consultancy
  • In-depth procurement knowledge / work experience
  • Fluent German & English skills
  • Ability to work in complex environments - both independently and as part of a team!
  • Strong analytical skills & problem solving ability
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, enquiring approach
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels
  • Willingness to travel & ‘hands-on’ approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo, recognise opportunities and identify innovative solutions that add real value to clients.
