YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE CONSULTING THE MANAGEMENT REGARDING DATA PROTECTION LAW AND GENERAL LEGAL TOPICS CONCERNING KAISER X LABS’ (KXL) OPERATIONS AND THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN KXL AND OTHER ALLIANZ ENTITIES, INCL. TOPICS SUCH AS CONTRACT MGMT, COMPLIANCE REGULATIONS & REVISIONS ETC.
Owning the topic of data protection law (GDPR)
Consulting regarding interrelationships within the organization
First person to contact for legal advice on general compliance tasks within the Allianz world
Will cover areas with legal relevance across IT, data protection/information security, risk and resilience
Contract management reporting directly to one of our Managing Directors
Being part of the GRC (Governance risk and compliance board ) team
Design, review and negotiate contractual and service relationships with internal and external contractual partners (e.g. reviewing terminations, cooperating with company management and with specialist department
YOUR EXPERIENCE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR!
Working experience with focus on Data protection including an understanding in IT Security
Ability to familiarize yourself with a variety of different legal topics
Previous professional experience in a law department / law firm
Experience in advising companies on the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Ability to flexibly work across multiple projects, effectively prioritizing tasks and the willingness to work together in a team
Available onsite for at least 51% of your working hours in our Munich or Stuttgart office
You have a quick grasp, especially for legal issues concerning KXL
You have a high degree of discretion and a relaxed approach to all challenges of day-to-day business
4+ years of experience in doing what you do
Fluent in German, good knowledge of English
