ITP (Integrated Tactical Planning) Manager

How you will impact WestRock:
The ITP Manager is responsible for managing and leading customer service, shipping and planning teams, supporting strategic initiatives for the plant and the company, partnering with production, sales, executive management, quality and customers to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.

How will you impact WestRock:
Partner with sales, quality, production, maintenance, planning and shipping to review product backlog and production performance to identify opportunities to optimise functional efficiencies.
Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient scheduling.
Partner with pricing specialists to ensure accuracy of estimates for customers.
Review invoicing and A/R communications to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
Balance production workload volume across plant in partnership with planner to support customer needs.
Monitor and review finished goods inventory and ensure necessary actions are taken to ensure it is minimised.
Liaise regularly with production management team to ensure customer needs are being met.
Partner with pricing specialist and customer services representatives to validate and approve all customer specifications.
Serve as an escalated point of contact for customer issues by supporting customer services representatives with issue remediation and communication with customers as necessary.
Participate in projects supporting plant and/or companywide strategic initiatives (i.e. margin enhancement efforts, overall equipment effectiveness efforts) by providing critical customer service expertise and insight to inform decisions and recommendations.
Establish continuous improvement actions to develop an excellence culture in all areas under his/her supervision.
Maintain regular meetings with Sales and Customers.
Continuously communicate with customer services representatives, manufacturing partners and sales to align on the current state and ensure operational efficiencies are achieved to meet customer needs.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to direct reports to enhance their performance and support their career growth and objectives.
Ensure alignment and functional efficiencies are achieved across the team of direct reports through daily communications.
Conduct performance reviews to drive enhanced performance and build capability in teams.

What you need to succeed:
Degree or related experience
Fluent in English and German
3+ years in production/manufacturing experience
5+ years of customer service
3+ years in a supervisory role.
Six Sigma Certification a benefit
JDE experience a plus
