Full-time
- Job Share: Full-time (38.5 hrs. p.w.); modern work conditions.
- Location: FLOCERT headquarter office, Bonn, Germany.
- The salary and benefit package depend upon qualifications and experience, based on the collective bargaining agreement “Whole and Foreign Sale North Rhine-Westphalia (salary group IV).
- Start date: as soon as possible.

FLOCERT HR department and team provides high quality services within the scope of the full employee life cycle and covers a broad spectrum of HR activities: recruitment and hiring; training and development; promotions and transfers; onboarding and leavers’ process; compensation and benefits; controlling as well as personnel planning.
As an HR Assistant you will work on a diverse set of responsibilities and independent tasks within the core areas of HR Administration and Personnel Services. Hence, you will be part of a great, friendly and experienced team, where you can continue and develop further your professional career within FLOCERT.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for HR administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making FLOCERT a better place to work. Provide support, administrate and coordinate HR administrative processes and - personnel services in the bellow areas:
Personnel Administration
- Administer, enter and/or update personnel data in the HR Management System or other data sources, including filling of HR records and generating HR reports.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the monthly remuneration (payroll) with our external provider.
- Support the administration of our employee benefits’ (e.g. job ticket, BAV, Social Insurances, Childcare, etc.).
- Prepare respective HR and/or company documents, letters and/or statements
- Handle and respond to employee`s administrative inquiries within the given work scope.
- Support the onboarding and leaving processes for our employees.
- Assist on the organisation and administration of FLOCERT company trainings (e.g. participants list, general communication, Feedback surveys, etc.).
- Collaborate on the Annual Employees’ performance apraisal scheme and Employee’s recognition program.
- Support the introduction & training for HR apprentices.
- Support the HR Management in the administration and coordination of invoices, signature signing process, status reports, minutes, meeting agendas, appointment coordination, internal compliance processes, etc..
- Collaboration and support in HR projects, preparation and follow-up, status reports, creation of tasks and todo lists and/ or other tasks, when required.
Qualifications
“Must haves”
- Completed professional education with a commercial and HR focus (e.g. vocational IHK training, university degree or any other relevant HR qualification).
- Relevant professional work experience in HR, in particular HR Administration and Personnel Services and/or compensation & benefits.
- Strong dedication towards customer service with an affinity for HR related issues.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with different cultures.
- Flexible, pro-active and hard-working work style.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English & German, oral and written.
- Independent, thoughtful and structured way of working.
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Word and Excel).
- Motivation for Fairtrade.
- Knowledge of German labor and -security law is an advantage.
- Knowledge of work experience with any HR Software or “Rexx Systems” is an advantage.
