This is a great opportunity to work for one of the best companies in the medical device industry where we all contribute to save people´s lives.

We are looking for either somebody with HR experience or also junior HR professional who completed the PFK certificate and wants to put the knowledge in practice.

Main Tasks
  • Preparation of payroll documentation, communication with internal collaboration partners and external payroll provider
  • Preparation of employment contracts incl. compensation analysis for new employees as well as reference letters and certificates for existing employees
  • Personal Records: up-to-date and maintenance of employees’ documentation and personal records, digital and in paper
  • Data Management – proper use of all HR systems, ensure compliance, maintain data up to date, creation of periodical reports
  • Onboarding and orientation process for new employees

Additional Tasks
  • Perform front line HR duties for Germany
  • Administration and implementation/improvement of internal policies in compliance with corporate requirements and legal/social/economic restrictions of the country
  • Assess HR issues that require considerable judgment and risk management where Edwards policies and practices do not exist
  • Advise employees and managers on a variety of payroll/administrative issues in German as well English language

Required Skills
  • 1+ years of experience in HR or HR Diploma (PFK Certificate)
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English & German
  • Expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and HR systems (e.g. Workday or similar)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge or understanding of HR functional areas including: Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition
  • Strict attention to detail and affinity for numbers
  • Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and to participate in projects
