Head of Talent

About your new role:

Our mission is to Invent Better Business Banking and our Head of Talent helps to do this by attracting the best talent to Penta and helping Pentonians grow and develop in their careers.

The Head of Talent is part of our People and Culture Team.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead our Talent team in the development of a strong employer brand which attracts great talent to come and work for Penta, we have a very special culture and you’ll be responsible for continuing to share that and sharing it across talent communities in Berlin and Belgrade. You’ll also make sure we provide a great candidate experience through our hiring processes, work with managers and our HR Business partners on their hiring needs, lead and develop a talent team and support the growth and development of Pentonians with learning and development initiatives.

In your new role you will:

• Build a strong Employer Value Proposition and tell the story of working for Penta externally, building a strong employer brand in key talent communities.
• Lead our Talent team to develop our hiring processes and systems so we can select the best Pentonians, provide a great candidate experience and have good quality data that helps drive our HR priorities.
• Lead on the deliver of some of our OKRs that support the growth of our culture.
• Work with HR Business Partners to develop internal career development opportunities for Pentonians - career ladders, capability frameworks, values and behaviours, leadership skills etc.
• Support the Head of People and Culture.

What do you need to be successful?

• Experience of growing talent in a scaling organisation - you should have experience in rapid growth and be able to shape processes and ways of working at the same time as hiring at pace.
• Experience of building a strong employer brand using digital and less-digital methods (think LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook but also meet-ups and events).
• A real passion for building an inclusive and diverse culture that supports an ambitious mission.
• Experience of creating career frameworks, talent management processes, learning and development plans and organisation or leadership development.
