The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.This is a Permanent contract based in France (Lyon), Germany, Switzerland, UK... to work in the Operations team, to join us as soon as possible.

Let’s Talk About You Role
Your role is to drive profitable growth and execution of strategy through priority projects in European logistic operations. Participate to the definition of the infrastructure and capabilities required to create competitive advantage for ResMed in EMEA and the creation of a scalable and flexible operating environment with an emphasis on achieving a strong customer focus and improved revenue
The primary interfaces for this role will be the EU Logistic Director, Commercial Operations LT, Country managers, local logistic and support functions as well as external logistics providers.
The role requires transversal management of complex EMEA strategic initiatives in terms of logistics and the need to build highly effective, cross-boundary working relationships with culturally diverse commercial and operations teams. The incumbent is to provide Pan-European coordination on priority logistics projects.
This role requires European travels.
Let’s Talk About Responsibilities
- Participate to the design of the operations strategy for EMEA
- Lead Logistic change projects — applying methodology to analyze key components of the business and commercial model, processes and systems; synthesis of analysis into operational insights and practical recommendations.
- Drive initiatives to leverage the level of services we provide to our customers to achieve meaningful customer loyalty while accessing improved efficiency across the EMEA organization.
- Drive projects for a greater standardization of processes and systems
- Collaborate with the EMEA country leaders to develop and define clear SLAs
- Be a key champion for change; balance the need to protect the core yet be prepared to disrupt pre-existing industry structure and market conditions where there is potential to unlock value.
- Conduct all business activities in compliance with ethics, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the first point of contact in a project; close collaboration and close communication with the various business interfaces
- Work continuously on the improvement of existing processes
- Lead all kind of logistics projects which are not limited to a size
- Regular project reporting (costs, deadlines, project progress, project goals, risks, etc.)
- Professional and objective-oriented planning and control of all relevant tasks in the project
- Ability to navigate and deliver through a complex change environment and with culturally different teams
- Drive projects for business process and systems redesign and transformation, delivering results and improvements
- Balance the need to deliver short term results with the need to create the conditions for sustainable long term growth
- Ensuring a culture of customer focus throughout the business
- Work with operational discipline, across multiple geographic markets with competing priorities to support profitable growth
- Business awareness — Ability to use changes in legislation to develop new opportunities. Keeps up to date with current trends in the business environment
- Excellent knowledge of the logistics environment, encompassing EU trade compliance, domestic distribution and international logistics.
- European travel required
- Bachelor’s degree or masters in Supply Chain
- Gathered practical experience in project management in the logistics environment
- Good experience of EU Logistic network
- Recognition of cross-functional relationships along the supply chain
- Strong communication skills
- Autonomous and objective-oriented working method
- Experience of working in different geographies
- Strong experience in managing large scale project across different departments and geographies
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Capacity to adapt to a fast-pace environment
