For our aviation client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH we are looking for a

Functional Engineer AIT (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities
  • Perform functional integration of optical Instruments, including support for electrical integration
  • Specify test objectives, test set-up configuration and methodologies for the test execution
  • Preparation and execution of environmental test campaigns
  • Development of procedures and scripts for functional integration and testing based on specifications
  • Test data evaluation and test report generation
  • Participation to non-conformance review boards
  • Operation of the instrument in all test phases using CCS5 checkout system
Your profile
  • Engineer Avionik
  • Analytical thinking, ability to seek information from different sourcesIndependent and structured way of working, ability to work in a team and a high level of quality awareness
  • Very good communication, presentation, organization and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in certain project phases (Readiness for shift work (three-shift operation 24h/7d)
  • Willingness to business trips - 3-4 for times a year for until 4 weeks to England und France (beginning from September)
Special Knowledges In
  • Python, MS Office, C/C++, TCL and Unix
  • Knowledge in ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards
