Frontend Developer (m/f/d)

4flow software develops a range of global standard software products for logistics and transport planning that can be used across all industries. The integrated planning approach of our software products ranges from long-term optimization of network structures to short-term optimization of transport utilization. In addition, the planning results can be combined with transport processing and invoicing to form an integrated transport management system.

We are looking for both Frontend and Backend developers. You will be working within one of our new cross-functional product teams that is operating as a lean start-up, connecting the dots between material and transportation management. In this team we are aiming to apply serverless technologies to build a highly scalable and customer-focused product .

Our Frameworks: Serverless, Docker, Vue.js, Node.js

Our Tools: Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS, Gradle, Ansible, Postman, Jira

Our Methods: Agile. Right now, we are using Kanban.

Your Role

You will be part of a small greenfield project team that is aiming to take our in-house developed mathematical models and apply them in a heavily parallelized and scalable manner to existing customer data. We want to take the results of this optimization process and display them to the end user in a concise and actionable manner.

You contribute to the team by:

• Extending and applying our optimization engines in new ways.

• Participating in architectural design meetings.

• Performing code reviews with your team colleagues.

• Designing and implementing external integrations.

• Contributing your ideas to improve our engineering practices.

• Taking a DevOps approach to software development.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, we believe you should bring at least two years of full-time development experience to 4flow.

What is important to us:

• Experience with Microservices or Serverless design paradigms

• High awareness of clean code principles and design patterns

• Experience working with a CI/DC workflow

• Very good English proficiency to communicate with our international colleagues.

• A healthy curiosity and willingness to learn
