Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners.

Wolt has been growing rapidly in Germany ever since we launched our operations in August 2020. We’re now in 5 cities and expanding fast with new city launches planned during the next few months.

As we continue to grow, so does the number of restaurant partners that we work with. For us, it’s extremely important that pictures of the dishes prepared by our restaurant partners are consistent and in line with Wolt’s brand expectations - after all, these visual aesthetics are one of the most important aspects for our customers when they choose what to eat! :)

In order to help us to ‘onboard’ restaurants, we’re looking for freelance photographers with a passion for restaurant photography, a willingness to take up new challenges, creativity, speed in action and of course, a love of food!

What you’ll be doing

• Organising and carrying out on-location restaurant photo shoots
• Shooting product and title photos which adhere to our style guidelines and requirements
• Processing and exporting photos for publication on the Wolt platform

Our humble expectations

• Experience in food photography using artificial lighting
• Knowledge of Capture One or Lightroom and Photoshop
• Styling skills a plus
• Good communication skills in German (at least B1 level)

Equipment needed

• Full frame mirrorless or DSLR camera
• Tripod
• Portable lights
• Laptop and tethering cable
• Lightroom or Capture One
