Finance Manager Group Accounting (IFRS) (m/f/d)

In this hands-on role you will be the subject matter expert for group accounting/IFRS, effectively advising the business and creating a structured approach towards ensuring full compliance for all global entities of SAP Fioneer.

You will become part of a highly motivated team of professionals who work towards creating a state-of-the-art corporate Finance function from the ground up. Tremendous efforts have already been invested in creating the basis of structured and well-considered processes. As our (Senior) Finance Manager, you will pay a critical role in the planning, controlling and running of our business.

You can be based anywhere in Germany or in our office in Munich if you prefer.

• Development and implementation of group-wide accounting guidelines, considering current developments in analytics and digitalization processes
• Coordination and optimization of internal closing processes as well as further development of analysis and digitization processes
• Independent participation in the preparation of external financial reporting, preparation of extensive parts of the IFRS notes
• Independent handling of fundamental accounting and organizational issues, additional topics as well and ad hoc requests from management
• Conducting purchase price allocations for acquisitions
• Provide specialist support in cross-departmental projects and transactions
• Be an experienced and reliable point of contact for group audits, specialist departments, and subsidiaries.
• Preparation of solutions for complex accounting issues according to international and German accounting standards.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an auditing company and/or experience in group accounting of an international company
• Extensive knowledge in international accounting standards (IFRS), ideally with expertise in one of the following areas: revenue recognition, leasing, pensions or financial instruments
• Consolidation experience and experience with consolidation systems
• Structured and process-oriented way of working, effective prioritization skills, resilience, and team spirit
• Fluent German and English language skills
