As Construction Engineer in Austria, Germany & East Europe you can start with construction planning and cost estimations, managing and/or supervising site works and subcontractors as well as supporting technical sales & engineering operations.

The responsibilities:

  • Construction plans and cost calculations
  • Contributing technical support to project drawings and designs
  • Preparation of quotation documents incl. technical specification with sales
  • Managing and supervising site works
  • Installation planning and site work schedules
  • Participating in procurement of project materials, subcontractors and manpower
  • Development and coordination of local contractor network (local supply
  • contracts)
  • Participating in troubleshooting when applicable
  • Preparing and presenting site reports and project reviews
  • Preparing site HSE and security, site quality inspection and authority inspections
  • Documenting construction processes and keeping detailed logs

The requirements:

  • Technical background with a minimum of BEng degree or equivalent in mechanical / process / thermal engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience from power plant engineering and site operations
  • Fluent written and spoken English, German and preferable Slavic languages considered as an advantage
  • Service-minded and good collaboration skills with colleagues in the matrix organization
  • Capable to prepare site construction plans, schedules, cost estimations and technical specifications - Hands-on attitude
  • Experience in site management, supervision related task and duties and/or commissioning is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of power generation processes considered as an advantage
  • Willingness to travel, approx. 50% of annual working time outside home office

We are legally obliged to indicate the salary. We are citing the minimum wage stipulated by the collective bargaining agreement here. It amounts to EUR 41 365,94 gross per year.

Of course, we overpay this amount by a considerable amount in line with the usual market level for the respective position, depending on personal professional experience and individual qualifications.
