We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Commercial Service Engineer in Germany to join our expert Service team, which consists of approximately 2.000 employees worldwide. What you’ll do

• Independently perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on our standard and customized systems, including chromatography, protein & cell therapy systems as well as filter integrity testers, after receiving appropriate training

• Implement network installations, including device integration into customer networks

• Provide comprehensive briefings to customers on newly installed devices

• Proactively plan and execute customer visits as part of service contracts, projects, and maintenance blocks, establishing long-term and trusted customer relationships

• Handle challenging customer situations and manage complaints effectively

• Participate in regular training courses on technical innovations, either in Sweden or the USA/UK, conducted in English

• Timely document customer visits and services

• Manage your own spare parts warehouse, including inventory control

• Support sales account managers and sales specialists, actively assisting with service product sales

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of our service offerings and communicate their value to customers to drive sales growth

• Collaborate with internal partners to generate new equipment leads and support growth initiatives

• Partner with sales teams to support ongoing sales initiatives and drive growth

Who you are

• You have successfully completed electrical engineering education (electrician certification required, additional certifications as necessary) or hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent

• You bring several years of experience in field service

• You are fluent in both spoken and written German and English, with a genuine passion for working in a multicultural environment

• You possess strong technical-analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

• Work experience under GLP / GMP conditions

• You are willing to travel regularly.

• You are proficient in MS Office and PC applications.

• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Basic knowledge of chromatography or similar technologies is advantageous.

• You hold a valid driver’s license
