Cloud Application Engineer (gn) | Inhouse

contract: full-time, start date: asap, location: Leipzig or remote (Germany)

  • Manage and support our applications on their lifecycle to SaaS.
  • Have a huge impact on the evolution and modernization of our applications.
  • Work as a bridge between the teams of software development and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to users.

Das Aufgabengebiet
  • Design and improve software
  • Work with Product Managers and customers to determine business needs and solutions
  • Evaluate new software products and provide defect and enhancement reports
  • Ensuring effective front end and back end functionality of applications.
  • Monitoring existing systems and recommending improvements by integrating new technologies.
  • Run extensive application tests and test procedures
  • Automate application and configuration deployment/troubleshooting and fixing
  • Continuously identifies opportunities for improvement and makes suggestions for change

Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten

Your Working Experience
  • +5 years in Networking/OS/Firewalls and the interaction/impacts with applications
  • Automation of application deployment / troubleshooting / fixing
  • Transferring applications from Onprem to SaaS
  • Exceptional ability to provide front end support to internal departments and web-based clients

Kowledge & Certifications
  • Database systems (MS SQL, MySQL or others) and Application Interfaces
  • Programming languages, such as C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby
  • managing code migration, document configuration changes and monitor performance

Language Skill
  • Good English and German language skills in speaking, reading and writing
