Role Summary

Ideally the person will have some technical background, be it : Pre-sales, PLM, the section wrt RAN, VoLTE, IMS,Operations as it will be required to look at solutions and understand what is required within the solution and how to align pricing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Have a basic technical of the following areas understanding techincally of RAN,IMS, Packet Core and VAS
  • Ideally the person will have some technical background, be it : Pre-sales, PLM, Operations as it will be required to look at solutions and understand what is required within the solution and how to align pricing.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to look at customer requirements in detail and understand the impact of a commercial offer from Mavenir wrt : Contracts, Commercial & Technical Requirements, Risks and Legals.
  • Creative : have the ability to think outside of the box and find solutions to commercial challenges. In addition be able to start with a blank sheet and create costing and pricing, < Excellent MS Excel skills.>
  • To understand solutions at a high level, wrt technical requirements. This is important as certain sales will not have experience in all products and so guidance to sales is required at times.
  • Think and apply about Commercial strategies in order to support Mavenir short and long term goals.
  • Be able to present & justify commercial recommendations to all levels within the company
  • Be customer facing should sales require support in customer negotiations.
  • The role will primarily support the EMEA region, however the role is Global and worldwide support is required and therefore the candidate should be flexible wrt supporting various worldwide time zones as required.
  • Travel - as required to support sales
  • Be able to train Sales people effectively on pricing tools and ensure they become self sufficient.
  • Be able to review Costings & Pricing quickly and effectively and provide a pricing balance in order to protect Mavenir.
  • Work with all internal groups, SCM, PLM & Operations in order to align commercial tools.
  • Be decisive and a self starter with an eye for details.
  • Good people skills : As a Commerical Architect it is important to be able to listen and communicate the most appropriate approach for pricing : internally and externally
