Tasks

As Business Consultant you are responsible for initiating, formulating and implementing supply chain optimization software solutions for customers. In this role you combine the ability to build solutions with maintaining trusted relationships with your customers. You help them get to the very essence of complex logistic processes and opportunities for improvement. Your focus is on customer satisfaction and increasing business value for the customers of Ab Ovo. Your role is to analyze, design, present, demonstrate, test and implement the software solutions the project team has created.

Requirements

We are looking for young graduate candidates with a master in Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer science or Data Science who are interested in Operations Research. Candidates in addition have:

  • The eagerness to learn fast;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Affinity with object-oriented modelling and programming;
  • Analytical and conceptual skills and ad structured approach;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to spot and develop relationships and opportunities;
  • Interest to work internationally and travel now and then to customers;
  • Good verbal and written command of English and German.
Candidate preferably lives in Germany as it concerns customers on the German market.
