The Role
You will provide operational and administrative support to team consisting of Analysts and Client Advisors in all facets of daily business routine, while maintaining awareness of and sensitivity to confidential nature of Private Banking clients. This will include a limited degree of client communication. You will work in a team-oriented environment with client advisors, client service specialists, operations and technology teams to fulfil requests. You would be passionate about client service and will use communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support developing marketing pitches and investment ideas presentations and assist in preparing, reviewing and approving investment performance review presentations
- Support Analysts and Client Advisors in Know-Your-Client documentation and processes and Suitability assessments and reporting
- Assist in account opening process and internal preparation to facilitate subsequent investments
- Monitor client accounts and provide basic client information management
- Daily account administration
- Contact point with Account Opening teams, Supervisory Management, Risk Management and Investor Support teams
- Team liaison with Operations and Client Service Specialist teams
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bank apprenticeship preferred
- Initial prior work experience in an investment banking, private banking or asset management firm in sales support role or middle or back office function preferred
- Fluent in German and in English
- PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
- Good judgment and problem solving skills
- Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
