ANALYTICS / DATA ENGINEER (F/M/D)

Sanity Group aims to improve the quality of life for people in Europe through the meaningful use of cannabinoids. YOUR TERRAIN

• You will develop advanced data models, add new data sources and enable other teams to turn this data into insights, analyses, and dashboards
• You own our core data pipelines end-to-end, from ingestion in our data warehouse to consumption in a dashboard or data product
• You get involved early in business specific discussions with the stakeholders and understand the requirements
• You will write high-quality data tests and deliver confidence on the source and final data model freshness and change.
• You perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions or generate data sets

HOW YOU CONVINCE US

• You can identify yourself with our mission to revolutionize the European cannabis market and want to make your contribution
• You completed a degree with a focus on computer/ data science / data engineering and you have gained a minimum of 2 years professional experience in data modelling and/or as an analytics engineer or analyst, ideally in a start-up and international environment
• You can demonstrate technical proficiency in SQL and cloud analytical databases (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake), experience with Python is a plus.
• You are experienced in writing ETL pipelines and managing end-to-end data pipelines
• You have been working with data exploration and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Looker, or Tableau
• You enjoy working in an international and agile environment with cross-functional teams
• You are fluent English and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, German knowledge is a plus

Sanity Group was founded in 2018 by Finn Age Hänsel and Fabian Friede. The company now employs a team of over 120 employees in Germany at its headquarters in Berlin and its production facility near Frankfurt am Main. Sanity Group brands include Vayamed (pharmaceuticals), Sanity Science (research and production), Belfry Medical (medical devices), VAAY (CBD products) and This Place (natural cosmetics).
