What we expect

The Team: Business Transformation & Strategy (BTS)

We are a team of highly skilled and motivated problem-solvers who envision the future and drive positive transformation within the company. We play a vital role in setting and implementing the global strategy of TKE. We work closely with different central functions and regional teams to turn plans into action. We are grouped into two sub-teams that collaborate closely based on the topic at hand. The ‘Business Transformation’ sub-team primarily oversees project portfolio management and value creation projects; and the ‘Strategy’ team focuses on topics related to market intelligence, strategy, organization and board office.

As Working Student (d/f/m) BTS you will contribute to and experience strategic work in a highly international environment. You will be a part of the ‘Strategy’ sub-team and provide support to the overall BTS team to:
  • Conduct market/competitor research and deduce implications for TKE globally
  • Identify and analyze trends/changes/disruptions, especially in the area of digitalization, to substantiate strategic conclusions
  • Support preparation of market intelligence reports and other strategy presentations for the top management
  • Support the annual global Market Query process with more than 50 countries
  • Support international strategic value creation projects (e.g. preparing work breakdown structure, timeline, resource plan, meeting preparation & follow-up)
  • Conduct & support content management and further development of internal tools and databases for market intelligence, reporting and project tracking (Project Portfolio Management & Tracking tool) in close cooperation with regional teams

Who we are looking for
  • Student of business administration, industrial engineering or equivalent at a university or university of applied sciences
  • First experience in the area of business development, project management and/or consulting is a plus
  • Affinity for IT and digitalization-related topics
  • Interest in quantitative and qualitative research
  • Top-notch conceptual and analytical skills to be able to cope with a great variety and diversity of topics
  • High degree of autonomy and sense of responsibility
  • Team player with good social and communication skills to be able to work in diverse team constellations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications with advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint skills; Power BI proficiency is a plus
  • Fluent English (written & spoken) required; Knowledge of German/another foreign language is a plus
