We are building a technology that makes paying in restaurants 10x faster, much more convenient and increases tips for waiters by 40%. Our clients are among the largest restaurant chains and franchises in the restaurant industry. As part of our team You will change the dining experience of people all over the world and millions of payments will be processed throughyour work.

Aufgaben

Expect to work in a fast-moving environment that is optimized for fast iteration. We welcome all new colleagues with holistic training regarding architecture/code setup and the business.

As a frontend engineer you will be working on our consumer-facing mobile web apps for end-users, on the Point-of-Sale app (POS) that is used by the restaurant staff or on our own internal system that is used by the sales and operations team to handle the massive growth phase we are facing.

While aiming to build the most frictionless user experience on the front-end, we have a diverse set of challenges on the backend as well: REST API, Microservices, Payment Integration with international payment providers or with out clients’ POS systems ranging from modern cloud services to old legacy systems.

Qualifikation

BACKEND ROLES

  • You have solid experience and understanding of Node.js, SQL (Postgresql), Linux servers and a profound understanding of how the web works (REST/HTTP, Websockets, …)
  • You use promises over callback hell and functional programming is your go-to approach
  • You consider automated tests your ally and you have worked on production systems
  • You have deployed something into production that has been used by users
FRONTEND ROLES

  • You are proficient in React and work with functional components, you useHooks ;)
  • You use Redux for state management and have an opinion on how to handle side-effects the right way
  • You write automated tests for all your components
  • You have worked on production systems and have deployed something into production that has been used by users
