Vice President People & Culture(f/m/d)

For our global expansion beyond Europe we are looking for a new addition to head our growing P&C team. You will further build and promote our unique air up culture. You are a key ambassador for our values and ensure we are building a global tribe, that identifies with our purpose & values.

Your responsibilities

• You will build a world-class global P&C team required for one of the few global unicorns in food-tech (from 7 teamies in P&C today to ~40 in 2024) and report directly to the Co-CEO
• You will guide the P&C team and therewith continue to be the trusted partner for our teams to drive their personal and professional development to the extraordinary
• You will facilitate global growth structurally and process-wise within the company which includes a close partnering to the exec team
• You will level up the unique hiring process that allows us to scale our organization with our goals in a global context
• You will improve our high standards in HR operations and execution and step up the game
• You will take over and level up our approach in making employee happy at work – not only feelable but also measurable
• You strengthen the strategic base and competencies of our P&C unit and drive the build-up of know-how and expertise across our value chain
• You are a trusted teacher and a coach for your global business unit colleagues and local senior P&C team
• You will strategically develop the workplace environment in our offices as physical representatives of our air up culture that support our collaborative way of working
• You enable the L&D Team to bring Learning and Development to the next level to make sure that each and every airuppie has a clear path to learn and grow

That’s you

• You have at least 10 years of experience in scaling from a start-up to a global market leader (from 130 to 1000 FTE)
• You bring global expertise to the table and have experience in our core regions (DE + US). You have done it all and seen it all and yet you are willing to build something completely new and unique.
• You have built strong remote teams (we are a remote-first company) and are experienced working in P&C environments that are strongly tools-, automation-, and KPI-driven
• You are a great partner, coach and facilitator on all levels and in a very diverse team, ideally with proven coaching capabilities (e.g. systemic coach)
• You understand People&Culture and the difference to classical HR
• You have a high sensitivity and a good feeling for diverse cultures and are used to grow highly diverse teams
• You have profound experience in all People & Culture related disciplines, from Business Partnering, to Recruiting, to Learning and Development, to HR Operations etc. and have the know-how of building leading global systems in all of them
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a no-regrets personality. You are used to building things from the ground up and getting your hands dirty wherever and whenever there is a need. Speed is your middle name.
• Your focus is on making businesses and people succeed. You build systems, structures and processes that ensure both go hand in hand.
