Your Tasks

As a UX/UI Designer at Beiersdorf, you will be responsible for delivering the best user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be designing ideas using various methods and the latest technology, designing graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs, forms, and widgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product teams and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to different teams
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Lead discovery processes through workshops and design sprints in interdisciplinary teams
  • Create consumer journeys and user flows for software, brand websites, apps and digital services
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user
  • Develop and maintain documentation regarding style guidelines
  • Experiment with innovative technologies, use them creatively and explore their full potential

Your Profile

  • Proven UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
  • Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools such as Sketch, Figma or similar
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluently spoken and written English skills are essential, German is a plus

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project management software
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
