Your Career
This working student role is hosted within our Unit 42 Consulting team in Germany. The team is providing Threat Analytics, Cyber Risk Management Consulting, Digital Forensics, Incident Response and MDR to Palo Alto Networks clients. The team consists of threat intelligence analysts, GRC consultants and technical experts for DFIR and MDR who are skilled in identifying the key components involved in attacks and using analytical methods and technology to connect attacks together to define broader campaigns.
Students can learn about the cybersecurity industry from leading thinkers, grow their professional networks, and be part of a career-defining experience.
Your Impact
- Work to classify Unit 42 intelligence into specific frameworks to help us better understand how adversaries are evolving over time
- Support consulting programs and DFIR engagements
- Facilitate delivery of projects with supporting automation implementation
- Work with other interns and career intelligence analysts to investigate known threats using tools and the techniques they use to compromise networks and steal data
Your Experience
- Basic understanding of network security and cyber-attack techniques
- Desire to understand how threat intelligence can assist organizations with defending their data and networks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- motivated mindset, willing to learn
- Requirements – you must be enrolled in a university program throughout the working student period.
