Tasks:

  • Analyse customer receivables or sales requirements and check the possibility of implementation (e.g. production conditions)
  • Carry out temporal and qualitative planning according to the priority plan and align results with the relevant bodies
  • Develop an overall concept for the solution of product-related problems
  • Further development of Navigation Systems and Electrical Software Projects
  • Manage ongoing project changes and maintenance including bug fixes and customer requests

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical aspects of a project to gain best fit with scope, outcome and time
  • Assess and evaluate risks as well as temporal and economic dimensions and define appropriate minimization measures
  • Clarify and define the content of work steps and packages
  • Select potential suppliers, obtain and review offers
  • Record project status and monitor project flow; in the event of deviations, if necessary via deciding on the right remedy to the situation
  • Ensure compliance with economic goals and technical specifications
  • Clarify bottlenecks as well as hardware and software problems and initiate corrective measures taking into account economic goals/targets
  • Creation of standards for the documentation and maintenance of project-descriptive Data
  • Answer customer inquiries within the scope of the warranty obligation and period
  • Employ employees, manage them professionally and help improve work processes support; Review and discuss work results

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the management and supervision of projects
  • Experience in the professional management of employees
  • EU citizenship
  • Stakeholder management
  • Strong ability to work in a team
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent, solution-oriented and flexible way of working
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Existing experience in Navigation Systems
  • Aviation/Automotive background preferable
  • Basic software experience in C or C++
  • An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience using MS Project
