Position Summary
In this role you will be responsible for working with the project management team to ensure contractual compliance, team integration efficiencies, and process development improvements. You will support the project management team is client presentations, research development, issue tracking, scope changes, and deadline/deliverable management.
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare documentation, reports, white papers, and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions.
  • Present findings with support materials to government/military sponsors, operational commands and organizations.
  • Apply critical thinking; think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics.
  • Establish the client relationship, assess client issues and propose project solutions; review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence or working session findings to assist the project leadership’s understanding of client priorities, scope changes, deadlines and deliverables; use this experience to develop project leadership skills and assume those responsibilities.
Assist Program/Project Leaders with project specific tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, scope management, quality, deliverables, and safety. Duties may include:
  • Work and collaborate with Program Management personnel on matters of business and contractual nature, such as preparation and monitoring of project deliverables and contractual documentation; preparation and monitoring and project reporting.
  • Maintain contractual, proposal, and project documentation including contract repositories.
  • Prepare, track, and file documentation for employee permits, security, certification, access, and travel requests.

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and performs all other position related duties as assigned.
  • Perform responsibilities as focal point for ongoing issue resolution, including commercial and federal compliance (terms and conditions), acceptance, and payment issues.
  • Complete and track project deliverables required for technical installation, such as inventory reports, quality assurance test forms, daily status reports, disposition reports, etc.
  • Create and modify material lists, prepare shipping documentation, and track material throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Consolidate purchases, shipments, and deliveries, develop a transparent system of tracking and expediting deliveries.
  • Work and collaborate with management and engineering personnel to ensure timely and accurate procurement and shipment of equipment and materials.
  • Research part numbers, manufacturers, product specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
Position / Candidate Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Must have minimum 5-7 years of experience with a Bachelors degree or 2-4 with a Master’s degree, preferably in business, information technology, systems engineering, engineering, or research-oriented discipline
  • Required Progressive Experience: Provide 3-4 Must Have Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time to customer locations.
