Summary
For the "Documentation and Training" department within the "Customer Services" area, we are looking for a "Team Leader in Technical Documentation for Defense Electronics Products (m/f/d) at the Taufkirchen location at the earliest opportunity.
The department focuses on logistics analysis, the production of technical customer documentation and the delivery of customer training on our worldwide supplied products.
Your Tasks
  • Technical management of the assigned team, planning of the use of resources as well as controlling of subcontractors and ensuring the delivery of technical documentation on time, cost and quality
  • Responsible handling of complex IETD (lnteractive Electronic Technical Documentation) projects
  • Technical guidance and methodological support of technical editors throughout the entire IETD creation process
  • Independent acquisition of technical know-how on projects/products
  • Development of guidance documents and planning documents as a basis for the project-specific implementation of the ASD S1000D
  • Preparation and implementation of process/change conferences with customers
  • Creation and maintenance of Data Module Requirement Lists (DMRL) based on LSA data
  • Editorial creation and modification of data modules
  • Creation and quality assurance of publications including creation/adaptation of publication modules and style sheets
  • Creation of offers for the "Technical Documentation" part as preparatory work for ILS offers on the basis of tenders
Your Profile
  • Completed studies in the field of technical documentation or a comparable technical course
  • Leadership quality and experience in team leadership
  • Many years of experience with ASD S1000D and mastery of the full range of practical applications
  • Experience with ASD S2000M
  • Knowledge of the ILS process and LSA basic knowledge/ASD S3000L desirable
  • Very good computer skills, especially in XML, programming skills in the XML, XSL, XPATH environment desirable
  • Experience in creating graphics (e.g. CGM) and processing 3D models desirable
  • Personal initiative, a sense of responsibility and a confident demeanor when dealing with international customers
  • Fluent in English and German
