We are looking for a experienced Supply Chain Engineer to define and drive the supply chain digitalization road map, via translating the business needs into advanced analytic language and project management.
Responsibilities
- Develop Supply Chain Digitalization Road map and Master Data Strategy
- Responsible to articulate end-to-end analytical propositions and conducting diagnostics to identify use-case opportunities
- Support analytical design decisions by taking relevant inputs from the Supply Chain team and defining a clear plan for the analytical team
- Support the analytical team to validate assumptions, extract relevant insights, and interpret models and output to steer business decisions
- Guide the analytical team to develop the right visualizations for presenting results
- Lead all projects related to digitalization from identification to implementation while working with stakeholders across other functions
- Position the business unit’s Supply Chain as a key driver and flagship in Clariant in the transformation to a digital future
- Develop concepts for supply chain risk management, total cost of ownership, integrated business planning
- Increase completion, consistency, and accuracy of master data by applying cutting-edge machine-learning technics
- Automation of analytical tools and systems as well as eliminating all manual data creation and manipulation
- Define reporting landscape and drives performance management via data transformation
- Deploy continuous improvement methodologies to generate tangible business benefits and global standardization
- Digital enablement for all employees to use minimum visual analytics to improve their work
- Orchestrates and coordinates a multi-functional team to implement digital projects
- Drive change management in the organization to foster best practices together with stakeholders
- Ensure implementation of Clariant Values and enable a frequent Performance Dialog - continuously foster team spirit and relationship building
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in supply chain management or related field.
- Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and order management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, R, Python, or similar as well as data visualization software.
