To start shortly, we are currently seeking a

(Sr.) Engineer for Virtual NVH Development (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for
  • Virtual development of Noise and Vibration characteristics with special focus on high frequency acoustics
  • Preparation and management of CAE models and load cases for various NVH simulation tasks
  • Numerical NVH simulation using HMETC standard tools
  • High Frequency Acoustics simulation and insulation development
  • Refinement of virtual development methods
  • Reporting and documentation of results in English language
  • Collaboration with our R&D Centre in Namyang (South Korea), suppliers, engineering companies and universities
  • Co-work with other teams and members to define vehicle, system, component targets for new projects

Who We Are Looking For
  • Degree in mechanical / electrical / automotive engineering / physics / or comparable
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of structural dynamics and NVH
  • Experience in the simulation and evaluation of vehicle acoustics and vibration using CAE methods
  • Ideally several years of experience at a car maker or system supplier in NVH simulation and/or testing
  • Experience with CAE tools for pre- and post-processing as well as solvers (e.g. ANSA, HyperWorks, Nastran, OptiStruct)
  • Ideally experience in scripting and automation of e.g. CAE processes or evaluations
  • Passion for innovative Simulation technologies, good overview on latest market trends
  • Willingness to travel and to work in an international / intercultural environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, pro-active attitude, very good command of English language
  • Proficient in reporting and handling of Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
