Nuremberg // Remote within Germany/UK/Spain | Full-time employee

As a Software Engineer - Database Engine (C++) at Exasol you are responsible for contributing to the design and development of our highly-parallel in-memory database. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stay up-to-date on the latest database technologies and development methods to contribute to the company’s success. The role requires problem identification and effective troubleshooting within the database system.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of a highly-parallel In-memory database

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, tech leads and architects

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and development methodologies

  • Identify problems within the database system and troubleshoot them effectively

Your profile:

  • Excellent knowledge of modern C++

  • Experience in efficient and massively parallel algorithms

  • fluency in English language
