Software Developer as SCRUM Agile Coach for ADAS Platform Integration (f/m/x)

At Mercedes-Benz, we invented the car and now, we strive for nothing less than taking the lead in car software.

We will do this with a strong software-focused development approach, strong partners like NVIDIA and our own Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). MB.OS will be developed in-house and is scheduled for launch in 2024. It is a holistic approach from the hardware over embedded software; the intelligent could up to the IoT.

This will allow greater speed, more frequent updates and upgrades, mastering the increasing complexity and will be designed around scalable architectures.

In the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) platform department, we are building a long-term sustainable software platform for future products such as automated and autonomous driving cars. Various feature teams and integration teams are designing, developing, integrating, testing and releasing software.

Your tasks will be:

• Facilitate Scrum meetings held within the team
  
• Conduct surveys and gather data to find out and improve the team’s status and well-being
  
• Where needed support by facilitating domain and project meetings
  
• Assure the team follows the processes being applied in the project
  
• Assure quality of the backlog grooming and tool data
  
• Escalate impediments to the leadership team
  
• Shield the team from unplanned interrupts and create awareness for consequences
  
• Help the team members define tools/templates used in the daily work within the team
  
• Lead the team through maturity phases (e.g. forming, storming, norming, performing)
  
• Make sure each team member understands the overall development strategy
  
• Help the team to be able to make a reasonable, feasible commitment, with a decent challenge but without overcommitting to what they can achieve in a sprint without cutting quality corners
  
• Participate in improvement initiatives about the organizational framework and setup of the surrounding departments and interfacing teams

• Agile development principles

• Scaling agile development into larger organizations
  
• Excellent English and German proficiency
  
• Excellent analytical skills and an independent, structured, and target-oriented approach
  
• Experience with scaled agile approaches such as LeSS or SAFe

• Familiarity with open source licenses and/or being a contributor to open source projects
  
• Understanding of ADAS SW stack and Sensor principles
  
• Experience with ASPICE and ISO26262 in organizations
