Key Responsibilities
  • Support of licensees in trial runs with new catalysts or producing new grades including identification of optimal operation conditions with maximal benefit for licensee when using Novolen catalyst
  • Proposal, definition and execution of projects with Novolen licensees in close cooperation with Catalyst Business and Technical Customer Support
  • Plant data analysis for performance evaluation, trouble shooting of customer plant operation, elaboration and implementation of improvements in plant operation
  • Support of clients during engineering, construction, commissioning and start-up including support on-site
  • Preparation of technical engineering and construction specifications with focus on polymerization technology
  • Preparation and interpretation of engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts etc.
  • Process engineering duties related to rotating and static equipment, instrumentation, HSE, etc.
  • Conducting surveys to gather field data and benchmarking
  • Support of clients in communication with equipment vendors
  • Provision of technical presentations internally and to clients
  • Organization and execution of training for licensees
Qualifications
  • University degree, preferably in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years professional experience in operation of a Novolen PP plant, another PP Technology or a comparable industry
  • Fluent business English skills are required, German skills are beneficial
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and innovative approach
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communicator, excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • High degree of self-motivation and personal energy
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad
