You can work in a hybrid mode, so be in the office as needed, it is not a remote only position. YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

• Collaborate and work closely with the Product Manager and Development Team to identify system requirements
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate Software Testing and the Integration into hardware
• Create tests to identify software problems and analyse bugs and errors found before/and after the product launch
• Develop and apply testing processes & standards for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Setup and steer automated test processes and implementations
• Research and compare similar competitor products
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
• Especially: BE a CHALLENGER and not an Executor—That’s most important
  
  

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE

• Extensive experience in software development and software quality assurance
• 3+ years’ experience in a related field
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Test Case Management
• Automated Frontend testing
• API Testing
• (Automated) mobile testing
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in release cycles, bug fixing, maintenance and help the team to “shift left”
• Knowing and being safe with agile methods (estimation procedure, Velocity, story refinement with Product Owner etc.)
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, Engineering or a related subject
• High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
• Personal projects that show an aptitude for technical excellence and product sense
• Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Nice to have:
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
• Previous experience with performance and/or security testing
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
