Time is running out.

For Europe to have a fighting chance to reach its net zero targets, we need to transform our entire economy within an unprecedented scale and timeframe. The EU is leveraging sustainable finance regulations as the catalyst that will drive this transformation. We are building the technology that will scale their adoption.

Our SaaS platform will harness the scale of data and artificial intelligence to help companies navigate and implement these regulatory frameworks, removing the significant cost and time barriers that are blocking them from achieving their climate neutrality objectives.

Based out of the Berlin AI Campus and financially backed by Merantix AG, we have access to a network of more than 90 engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs from leading companies and universities. You will be joining an experienced founding team with backgrounds in machine learning, law & sustainability as well as previous venture and consulting experience in the LegalTech, RegTech and NLP space.

Your role

Joining as our Senior Frontend Engineer…

• You will shape the core product and it’s tech stack from the ground up;
• You will participate in the overall design, architecture, and integration of our software;
• You will lead the frontend development of our platforms UI;
• You will work closely with the UX Designer and product team to ensure the UI is beautiful, intuitive and really solves the users needs;
• You will work closely with the rest of the tech team to ensure UI requirements are clear and synchronized with the development of the wider systems;
• You will plan, gather requirements, collaborate and communicate with stakeholders;
• You will be are a key part of the technical decision-making process;
• Ultimately, you will use your skills to help accelerate our mission impact and make a real difference;

Your profile

You’ll play a critical role in defining and driving the front end tech stack so if you think you’d be great at this job even if you don’t hit all these requirements, please still apply!

• Essentials:
• 3+ years experience as a frontend or full stack engineer building web applications from the scratch;

Proven experience with React, Next.js, suspense, hooks;
Experience working with backend services like REST or GraphQL
Experience building frontend SaaS products including data visualisation frameworks (e.g. D3);
Proven experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS and related web development scripting;
Knowledge of best practices for UX, usability, accessibility, SEO and application performance
Comfortable with git (e.g. github);
Experience with Agile Methodologies and working in Sprints;
You are curious, pragmatic, quickly learn new domains and can bring a new perspective to our team;
You are fluent in English (German not required)
Located in Europe and willing to relocate to Berlin full-time or come to Berlin for your first 3 months to get to know the team followed by a hybrid model: We can sponsor relocation for the right candidate

• Nice to haves:
• Experience working on backend API frameworks and using them to power frontend features (e.g. FastAPI, Django, Fastify, OpenAPI);

Experience with web design and UI/UX design principles;
Experience and working understanding of industrial-grade relational and non-relational data storage and using them to power frontend features (e.g. Postgres SQL);
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines to deploy frontend features (e.g. Github Actions);
An interest in Sustainability
An interest in AI, machine learning and Natural Language Processing;
