In order to further strengthen the regional, decentral Compliance Management System (CMS) and to support the EMEA Compliance team we are looking for a
Senior Compliance Manager RHQ (m/f/d)
for our regional headquarter in Cologne, Germany. In this role, you will report to the Director Compliance in Europe and functionally shape important parts of Yazaki’s Compliance Management System.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing the regional Whistleblowing Process. This includes internal investigations (preparation, implementation planning and legal evaluation as well as documentation and reporting), coordination of Compliance Committee Meetings and regular / ad hoc reporting
- Preparation and implementation of systematic legal compliance risk analyses in line with RHQ requirements
- Design and implementation of compliance policies, guidelines, processes and controls
- Design of compliance training & communication concepts and conduct of in person trainings for operational departments and management
- Coordinating the local rollout of compliance measures and leading the decentralized compliance efforts in cooperation with the Regional Senior Compliance Managers and the Country Compliance Representatives
- Coordination and preparation of regular CMS reports for our Board of Directors and the Internal Control Committee
- Continuous CMS improvement and monitoring of new legal obligations with CMS relevance
Your profile:
- Fully qualified lawyer or comparable qualification
- At least 5-7 years of international professional experience in corporate compliance (in-house compliance department, business consulting firm, law firm)
- Thorough understanding of corporate governance, internal control and risk management standards and their practical application
- Solid experience, skill and expertise in international internal investigations (“whistleblowing”), including related legal requirements and dealings with public enforcement authorities
- Proven practical experience in CMS design and implementation, in particular in relation to anti-corruption / anti-fraud compliance programs (FCPA / UK Bribery Act related experience preferable)
- Competition law compliance experience desirable but not a requirement
- Very strong conceptual, communicative and legal skills
- Pragmatic, systematic, independent and accurate way of working
- Obliging manner and intercultural competence
- Business fluent in English, fluency in German beneficial
