Pacifico Energy Partners GmbH (“Pacifico”) is a renewable energy company for wind and solar energy as well as battery and hydrogen technologies. We develop greenfield projects, repower existing plants, provide state-of-the-art asset management services and facilitate the acquisition of operational and turn-key plants.

Pacifico’s Structured Finance team is responsible for originating, structuring and raising the financing (equity and debt) needed for the development of onshore wind and solar PV plants as well as energy storage (batteries and hydrogen).

The team is looking for an Associate to join the Structured Finance team with the following profile:

Your key accountabilities

  • Supporting debt and equity raising processes from origination to closing, e.g.,
  • Creating tailored pitchbooks, investment memorandums and related materials
  • Analyzing financing offers from banks, funds, or alternative capital providers by building and using complex financial models
  • Asissting with loan negotiations, legal documentation, due diligence, and other ad-hoc topics
  • Building, developing and maintaining the financial models for the company’s acquisitions and development projects
  • Screening and researching new and existing investors, lenders and capital providers in the market
  • Monitoring deal flows in the renewables markets and research the latest market trends

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Engineering or Science) with an impeccable academic track record from a leading university
  • Prior relevant experience (e.g., internships or full-time) in banking, private equity, M&A, or a tier-one consulting firm preferable
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong attention to detail and a drive to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience, financial modelling skills are of advantage
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of German and/or additional languages is a plus
