Role and Responsibilties
You will establish our accounting internally in accordance with a new ERP system. You will be responsible for all accounting activities of our business such as:
  • Execution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the local entity MessengerPeople GmbH according to HGB
  • Preparing special financial reports to the group according to IFRS
  • Responsible for all accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, travel expenses etc.)
  • Developing new company’s financial and accounting policies, workflow and methods
  • Point of contact for our customers in all financial/accounting/billing subjects (incl. dunning process)
  • Cooperate with our German tax advisor and handling local tax requirements (VAT/ Intra Community Declaration …)
  • … and other administrative tasks that arise as part of our daily business
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ year experience within accounting
  • Excellent technical knowledge of German (HGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Analytical and structured thinking as well as a strong affinity for numbers
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Big plus! Strong experience with various accounting software’s
