Scientist*LC-MS Analytics

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Development and optimization of analytical assays (LC-MS) for peptide/protein/oligonucleotide characterization and quantification, including sample preparation, LC-MS data acquisition, data processing and analysis
  • Development of analytical strategies for the characterization of lipid-based nanopharmaceuticals by LC-MS
  • Documentation of experiments, data evaluation, presentation of results, writing reports and SOPs
  • Planning, supervision and review of external analytical measurements (targeted and non-targeted LC-MS)
  • Support tech transfer of analytical methods to QC laboratory
  • LC-MS instrument maintenance and troubleshooting

What you have to offer:

  • PhD in pharmaceutical or natural sciences or a Master degree with several years (>3) of relevant work experience
  • Profound knowledge of LC-MS based analysis e.g. quantification of peptides in cell lysates (targeted analysis and proteomics) or oligonucleotides
  • Hands-on experience in LC-MS instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Professional experiences in the development, establishment and application of analytical assays, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Exact, conscientious and independent way of working with independent time management, planning and analysis of experimental work
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
